not really thinking straight... tt happens after a 20(?) min bus ride, 45 min train ride, 20 min "speed" walk (if walking against the flow during rush hour is considered fast) all on an empty stomach.

 

i think the job is really sucking all the living daylight out of me.... wonder how I'll handle after the change to adult price public transport....

Christmas weekend was a welcomed break...

 

But the 3 days really went by too fast.

 

The first day was spent stressing abt xmas presents.(so sorry tmSac... I've decided to merge ur Christmas gift and bdae gift together too much effort...)

 

Sunday was perhaps the most enjoyable day the long awaited mahjong session... ok... there was like 2 hours straight that I didn't win a single game and was damned stress... never had so little money in the drawer before down to only red and blue chips...YIKES)

 

But I still ended up the overall winner with $3.50 profit~~

 

Seems little but we only playing 10 cents/20 cents. Cannot part with my hard earned money.

 

Then today was spent making the xmas/bdae presents for my clique and Geok. (yes Geok if u are reading this u got a present from me!! cos known u practically my whole life but i dun remember giving any gifts)

 

Argh harry and LT's gifts are the most stressful to complete... I lost a CD full of pictures and the cheapo webshots wanna earn money so I can't retrieve it bleh~

 

Really not looking forward to work tml...

Started work. Friend recommended job at aunt's office.

 

Was supposed to do admin stuff and answer occasional math qn online.

Went to support her at the NUS showcase yesterday, which was btw quite boring....

 

They took like 30 mins to come up with the finalist list.

 

Although yy did not go to the finals she won the Miss Model award~~~

Haha... the only thing is that the music they played later on was quite... not to my liking so dancing wasn't really all that fun but nonetheless good workout:)

 

However we proved a point though... Our class is loud...

Yeah!! finally finished burning the 24 CDs...

 

Haha class com thing... so much for a surprise

 

Too bad dun have much pics from prom should have gotten the sd cards from them the first chance we had.

 

But still we managed to squeeze everything in 1 cd and include a video message too... haha the NGs for the msg damn funny...

 

But the burning part sure is tedious 10 mins per disc so 24 disc would be... 10 HOURS??!!

Watched sharon on tv yesterday...

 

Realised that she actually getting old...

 

Dunno why i think this way but to me she'll always be the young, the-world-means-nothing-to-me "cousin"

 

But i really do respect her for her skills and guts...Not everyone can play a game with so many cameras around and god knows how many people around the world watching.

 

Anyway, congrats to Team Singapore Table Tennis Women for bagging the silver!!!

 the past few days zoomed by quite quickly...

 

In the short span of a few days I've basically covered all the major shopping districts searching for the perfect prom dress...

 

Luckily I ended up with something tt's value for money... $85 for 12 (and counting different ways to wear the dress)

 

Then came my birthday.

 

Went swimming with Jo in the morning...and promptly got sun burnt. Now aloe gel is my best friend.

 

Then to dinner with my PW mates and some classmates (thank you, Cindy for organising everything and to everyone who went or sent greetings)

 

So there goes... Right now my skin itches and hurts, the soles of my feet are in a bad shape, my bangs are way over acceptable lenght and my innerself is recovering from the shock of how fat I've gotten.

 

How nice it is to be 18.
