4月23日 revival!I woke up this morning into a ridiculously happy mood.

Loads. It turns out.
So I went out yesterday... (yes, yes, exactly one week from my first paper.... Whoever thought holding exams on a saturday is a good idea should be shot.)
Did some pretty weird things and went to some relatively ulu places.
First stop was to PS for some lunch and retail therapy. Chomel was having a closing down sale so I loaded up some bling XD
Can't help it... They are like 25% of their original prices... but the thing is...
There's always a reason why they are so cheap...some crystals fell out, totally screwing up my gift plan.
Then it was to the opening of a loli shop at the Cathay cineplex... I still don't get why the owner invited so many of them to be in costume to sit ard the shop...
I felt guilty taking up space there... the stuff there are totally out of my league.
Walked ard a bit and saw an irregular shaped bag XD Hehehheheheheh I shall sit on it until the exams end.
If its still there after the exam I'll get it!!!
Went to the natinal history museum next.
Being the cheapskates we are, we walked ard until 6 for free admission.
Saw some awesome chandeliers on pendulum and ultra bling wayang costumes.
Climbed 4 flights of stairs that freaked Harry out to Fort canning park.
The spice garden is amazing... will drag my mom there one day.
Hunted down down the heritage tree but failed to find the lightning rod...
crashed a wedding reception, company D&D and wat looks like another wedding reception (did that unwittingly... there was no free food/ drinks left so wat's the point??)
Ah... distraction is bliss... but all good things come to an end.
Drilled the TCA cycle into my head before sleeping...
My dreams are slowly turning more and more school based...
Wishing for a better dream tonight.

So I decided to heck and watch a movie and thus found another korean guy to drool over 8D
This is Park Ki Woong. And the movie I watched was My Tutor Friend 2 (go watch. its hilarious)
Shall not continue writing or I'll start gushing and scare ppl with my out-of-character-ness (I'm serious. I've been asked to stop smiling because its creeping ppl out)
Can't help it... Its very hard to find a guy whom I find cute and shuai and... and... (I've run out of adjectives...have to go 请教 DY and HY)

4月12日 printmaking crash coursethis is the original print
the stencil on the silk screen... the silk screen is attached to a clamp so it upside down.
the black acrylic paint mixed with textile medium is then spread on the silkscreen with a squiggy (not sure how to spell this) like tool the print is first done of this transparent piece of film (forgot wat its called) position the thing you want the print to be on then squiggy again.
WAH LAH~~ your very own t-shirt prints!!!

Hah.
Very eventful. Sometimes stressful. Definitely wierd.
Met "OH! I know, MERLION JC!" uncle in the lift and said a neighbourly hi. (yup... I think he's the only neighbour I talk to)
Had a very strange encounter with a teacher who recently got fired and on her way to bulldoze anyone in her path at the MOM. (She got quite agitated. Oh well... wat can I do other than listen and smile?)
Followed by a pleasant bus ride with DY to sch. (that was one of the better parts of the day)
Relatively relaxed CA, lost a quarter of the marks. (I am so totally over that. NOT)
Went back to NTU to settle "outstanding fees". (HELLO~ I wanna pay them but they dun want to make it easy)
Had lunch with Harry and talked a lot of crap. (that usually happens when we get together XD)
Crashed print making studio... Made 3 HOUSE t-shirts. (WHEEE~~~ shall post the pics soon)
Get to the hall office only to be redirected to the office of finance. (was cursing all the way up those stairs)
Found out that I had to go down personally for payment anyway. (*toot* then they make it seem like its my fault)
Get bitched at by the PMS-sy auntie at the payment counter for coming when they are about to close and she didnt want to let me pay. (blame ur colleagues. Dun shoot the payer)
Contemplated breaking the glass partition and strangling whoever was behind it. (damn near done that. luckily the receptionist was more 识相）
Decided against that. (May be a VERY bad record on my state of sanity...which is not that great to start with)
$269.35 poorer.
Met Harry's new roomie. (who's really nice btw. oh she has a lot of songs XD)
Tried on AWESOME rose shoes. (see picture)
Met Yong ge to go home. (was supposed to study with her... but the fee settling business took too damn long)
That about sums up my day.
Enjoying the grand finale of the day. Super cramps... just great.

哗啦啦 啦啦 啦啦 啦啦。。。
Exams are coming and I'm getting stressed!!
From primary sch up till now my stress level can always be estimated by the lenght of my nails.
They have an inverse relationship with a correlation of approxmately 0.78
So today, braving the possibility of getting maulled by an extremely hungry female, I went to get new nail polish!!!
YEAH!!! No more nail biting!!
yah yah I noe that it is bad habit. But I can assure everyone that it only surfaces when I'm stressed.
Had a mini shopping trip with Geok and DY today... good break after being trapped at home for 3 days studying.
I still have a CA and 1/8 of a lab report to study for and write.
Hai~~ craving for soba.... havnt eaten it for like... 1 week???? ( ok that was random)

I think I actually enjoyed it.
Amazing how much I "matured". From being the jittery noob of the first practical to breaking my first piece of glassware to the (relatively) calm, cool-headed psuedo-chemist.
Well, I can't say the experience has been all bad. Got to do a lot of things for the first time...
Like actually seeing the silver mirror from the silver mirror (Tollen's) test, doing TLC and of course stupid things like trying to carry out suction filtration without turning on the vaccum.
Well, I'll (in a very sick way) miss the thursday afternoon adrenaline rushes.
Right now I've to worry about writing the lab report....
