Ok... the wearing black to work for the whole week turned out pretty bad...

 

I ended up taking 2 half days and friday off...

 

Reason? Bad case of flu/fever/sorethroat.

 

So for a good slice of the last 3 days I've been sleeping like 3/4 of the day and eating less than one meal.

 

Got so bad one day that I just sat down and bawled my eyes out... scrap that. there were no tears... too dehydrated.

 

Basically the week had been crappy. And I'm like $120 behind.

 

And my supervisor (of sorts) thought I was in that pathetic state because I partied too hard in the weekend.

It all started out with Eason Chan's song in the morning...

 

When I turned on the radio it was already half over. But still, I thought today would be a lucky day for me.

 

So, I went abt my merry way preparing for work and arriving in tp only 2 mins late.

 

I kinda made it a habit to check the nus app status every morning before scanning and right after I get back from lunch.

 

Guess wat? I was posted to science.

 

To think I was quite confident abt my grades.

 

Well, Harry, ur right.

 

No accounting for ppl with less than 3 As, or rather, a person with C6 for GP.

 

Can't say I'm not disappointed.

 

Its a form of rejection.

 

And I take rejections personally..

 

So, I was the perfect emo kia for the rest of the day.

 

Of course I'll appeal. But they discourage us. (cover letter, page 2 "online appeal" point a)

 

Oh. And I extended my contract thingy. (Prob need all the $$ for retail therapy)

 

F.Y.I being emo is good for weight loss. Felt hungry all day.

Given the bad mix of gatherings, talks and siao phone line, I havnt been able to update  this.

 

I shall try to summarise

 

1) Spiderman 3 has too many villians

 

2) The evil black suit turning PP irresistable to women? Blah. I thought he looked like john travolta in grease meets adam sandler in the movie where he's the kind son of the devil.

 

3) Geok is an army guy 杀手.

 

3) I still have the best luck in the world. Went to the lib yesterday and spent 1.5 hr staking out for the book but it still managed to elude me... Oh well at least we were in the same roon for some time..

 

4) The sony ericsson cd rocks!

brought my mom out for dinner at ajisen and then bought a pair of shoes....

 

set back $57 and the $2 I spent for lunch... That would be my pay for the day....

 

excluding transport.

 

then came home and starting watchin tv

 

Its really a tough choice to make...

 

Tues 10 pm

 

Channel 5: CSI (vegas)

 

Channel U: the hk drama

 

Central: Brainiacs science abuse

 

In the end I spent like 45% each  on central and 5 and the rest on U.

 

Not a minute of the hour was wasted on adverts.

 

Cool eh?

 

So it was basically watching stuff being blown up, melted, dead bodies, suspects, pot of vinegar dumped on guy, blood, ppl clubbing, walking stick, car with hole melted through engine just because its old white and french, grissom's scowl, pple racing, not in this particular order.

 

Argh. I wish everyday were like that.
