Had a ride on the emotional roller coaster today. I was very very stressed.

 

Apparently bidding didn't go very well for me and I'm at risk of underloading if I can't find some non-memory intensive modules that do not clash with my core. I hate timetable planning. Praying that no one suddenly felt an urge to take IT mods.

 

After wrestling with the comp for 5 hours I was finally able to access my QET results. No eng mods for me!!!! Although I'm still quite disturbed at how much worse I've gotten in the language. No more expo essays for me, I guess. (hopefully not)

 

Anyways, miniproject results are damn screwed and the report is a bitch to write. Still trying....On top of that I still need to study for BTT.

 

Oh. And the first of my wisdom teeth emerged. My gums are sore and its painful to chew.

 

Hmmmm. Maybe I'll eat less.

CA, CHALET, QET.

 

Yup I was quite busy the past week.

 

Managed to screw up my CA.

 

Chalet was tiring and more of a gathering then a "do things together" affair. report

 

QET was quite un settling too.

 

Still trying to get my 元气 back.

I won't say that I'm a very patriotic person.

 

BUt there are times that one can feel that way. And I think the millions the government spend every year for the national day parade is worth it.

 

 

托 madame 的福 I got to go to the NE show today!

 

We were late but I guess we didnt miss out much...

 

The first performance that made an impact was the wheelchair dancers. Ballroom dancing on wheelchairs. OMG I really admire their perserverance.

 

Then the RED LIONS came roaring(ok... the sound was by the awestruck audience)!

 

Parachuters are damn cool XD I wish I could do that once in my life...If I ever get pass my fear of heights.

 

2 of the Red Lions came walked pass our side of the audience and one of them actually picked up a kid and kissed him!!!

 

The parade continued and they showed some really cheesy footages of the parade commander and the parade sergeant major with their families.

 

Erm... while I found the parade commander's daugther really cute I thought whoever came up with the idea of shooting a footage of the parade sergeant major playing catchig with his teenage/adult daughter at the seating gallery should 好好反省。

 

We could even see a hint of a smile on the parade sergeant major's lip when he shouted the commands...

 

Next came the BLACK KNIGHTS in their jets... the voice over of the pilots were relly cool.

 

I seriously think that pilots are 帅。 Enough said.

 

 

I felt that the show segment was really masculine... But the music and visuals were excellent, the floats were spectacular and full of surprises.

 

The filler between act 1 and 2 was especially memorable watch out for renaissance floats XD

 

 

The fire works display was really the highlight... OMG soooo pretty. Its like showering gold dust on the whole of the CBD. Words really do it no justice.

The day ended with me hearing a pri 5 kid saying "bye bye handsome boy!" to a group of army guys.

 

Cute. In a really weird way.

 

The expression on the army guys' faces was priceless.
