I was very very bored these few days. But everytime I declare that, my life would suddenly become really packed with activities.

Sunday: Went to watch Ballet under the stars with Aud and gang.

Ok. Their picnic is really quite 夸张 they have real food (spaghetti with meatballs), snacks (hotdog roll, celery, carrot stick), dessert (huge cream puffs from yamazaki),wine (some impressive brand of ice wine that costs $109 o.O) chocolate fondue and enough types of fruits to rival my aunt's spread.

I'd have to admit that watch ballet isnt something I'd do on a regular basis but its always nice to have a reason for a picnic!

I can't rmb what I did on monday but by tuesday I was feeling really bored again.

Then came an announcement for picnic at marina barrage on thurs! omg! I'm finally going there!

And I'm going to NDP preview again this year! Thanks to Madame bro's friend 小明 XD

Went cycling today with Aud. I think I've always known why I'm hesitant to go cycling.

I get tired and sunburnt really easily.

Wah. Trust me. I was tired. Couldn't stop bitching about how tired (sorry Aud) but really its kinda amazing that I cycled for that long.

We hoped to catch a glimpse of the eclipse but got caught in the rain instead>.<



My first mac burger in months. The coffee was better. But 50 cents more??



The tree that didn't fall the last time Aud was there met its sorry end.



Changi Aiport air strip!!! can see the control tower!

Then went to Jo's house and kena licked on the face by a very high Kira.Didnt even try to take his pic. He was jumping ard too much.

But I think the cute soft toy stage is gonna be over soon. Hope he grows up to be as "shui" as Rover XD

I was quite excited to be one of the first among my frens to catch HP and the half blood prince.

Then I flipped through the book and remembered that Ginny gets quite a lot of mention. No secret that I kind of hate  really really don't like her.

Not because I'm in love with HP or anything (definitely not the Edward Cullen jealousy syndrome) but I don't know. She just ...bothers me.

Crush on HP for N years, he saves her from certain death, she gets the guy, lose him to a greater cause, becomes a serial dater, gets back together and finally bears his babies. -_-"

I personally do not see her appeal no matter how good her skin condition is. The only good thing that came out of all this was that the 3 BFFs get to be related by marriage.

Wow. For someone who dislike her I sure dedicated quite a bit of virtual space on her.

Oh. Maybe because the movie was just so so.

Well, this is the 6th movie. Having caught all 5 previous ones (as every self respecting HP fan would) I am deeply disappointed with the lack of action and the choppiness and inconsistencies in the movie.

Seriously, after being treated to some of the best visuals (ok maybe not the BEST best but they were pretty good. And exciting) that the fantasy world CG can offer, I doubt that fans would be satisfied by this installment.

But I guess this movie was more for the development of the main characters than anything else. If that's what they were aiming for, then I guess they've succeeded.

Rupert Grint is getting more slapstick when he needs to, Emma Watson is getting prettier by the year and Daniel Radcliffe needs to stand on steps when in a scene with Ginny.

Geok, DY and I went to the lib after the movie and they totally made me realise that I should get a grip on my emotions. Or maybe just not unload them on others no matter wat.

Yeah, I got the msg. Pls do not stuff anymore emotion/anger management books or guides to happiness to me.

I know the appeal of books. But I was cursing all the time while I was reading HP and the deathly hallows (I dun usually curse at all at that time).

Now I can finally see it in a new light. It saved a life.

Sometimes some ppl just have the ability to make you feel happy.

Had Popeye's for lunch (obviously the mac open doors didnt work on curbing my propensity to consume fastfood) then went to Hiuyan's house!

Catched up a bit and had some pieces of chocolate wrapped in gold foil which came from a gold bar packaging (pity I didnt get a picture of that).



Made the penguin carry golden dumbbells. Heh heh.

Happy to meet so many ppl today especially since I havnt seen them in months. (JM u too! Even if I see u almost every week)

My sleeping pattern has become more and more absurd.

I woke up at 12.10 today having slept at 1.30 yesterday night.

WTH, whoever needs 11 hours of sleep?!

On Sunday I went over to my aunt's house and had....

And 3 kinds of ice cream...XD the Cappuccino truffle was really good.

Not to mention the whole platter of chicken wings and glutinous rice roll that I love so much.

So glad that I dun get access to these food 24/5 anymore or else bao bao would inevitably grow to the trimester.

Had to leave early for the Mac open doors tour... Which was a lot lacking and not really worth the trip.

Sorry to have dragged Aud along :(

But I think it was their way of subtly slamming their opponents. Not that it worked. I think deep down we all know that fast food is unhealthy (wth. we all KNOW that)

Its my fourth lesson and I apparently still can't master the biting point.

I'm a firm believer in not waking up until you absolutely have to.

Especially now that the hols are taking a toll on me. With no specific goals days just drag out and overlap.

I woke up at 9 am today determined to not go book hunting. (it just doesnt make sense to shell out $3+ for transport when reservation only cost $1.5)

Glad to say that I didnt succumb but the book is still not on loan!!! I just kills me to sit at home while knowing that said book is sitting on a shelf somewhere waiting to be borrowed!!!

Ok. Ok. Shall try to reign it in.

No more impromptu trips to AMK lib and the likes for books >.<
